Workshop on "Teaching students to think critically"

Today one of the most important criteria for success in College is the ability to think independently while being logical at the same time. Often students are asked to present papers either on their subject matter or in liberal arts. Knowledge of Critical Thinking Skills enables students to not only outline their papers coherently with a logical structure, it also helps them reason and present their thoughts in an organized and persuasive manner.

This is also important for almost any job in any industry. Employers want job candidates who can evaluate a situation using logical thought and come up with the best solution. Someone with critical thinking skills can be trusted to make decisions on his or her own, and will not need constant handholding.

With the awareness of the importance of these skills, the Creative Language Center held the workshop “Teaching students to think critically” presented by Mr. Nguyen Nhut Linh on March 21st, 2018 at Ton Duc Thang University.
