HƯỚNG DẪN THI CHỨNG CHỈ TIẾNG ANH QUỐC TẾ CAMBRIDGE

Đăng ký dự thi

1. Truy cập trang web: TDT Creative Language Center (Website: clc.tdtu.edu.vn) và chọn mục Assessment Services

2. Chọn Bài thi (Level) và Ngày thi (Test date). Sau đó, chọn vào đúng đối tượng đăng ký dự thi như sau:

TDTU Students: dành cho thí sinh là sinh viên TDTU

Non TDTU Students: dành cho các thí sinh còn lại như Giảng viên – Viên chức – Học viên cao học TDTU, Học sinh, sinh viên các Trường khác,…

3. Điền thông tin đăng ký:

Đối tượng: TDTU Students

Click “TDTU Students”

Chọn “Đăng ký hình thức thi, dự thi chứng chỉ Tiếng Anh quốc tế” 🡪 chọn “Tạo mới”

Điền các thông tin theo mẫu, mục “ngày thi” dựa theo ngày trên thông báo và click “Nộp đơn”

Đối tượng: Non TDTU Students

Click “Non TDTU Students”

Điền các thông tin theo mẫu và click “Gửi”

Lưu ý: Trường hợp thí sinh sử dụng kết quả bài thi cho mục đích nhập cư, nên kiểm tra xem loại Giấy tờ tùy thân mà Cơ quan quản lý nhập cư của nước đó cần và sử dụng đúng giấy tờ đó đăng ký dự thi. Mang theo giấy tờ tùy thân đã sử dụng đăng ký dự thi để đi thi.

4. Đóng lệ phí

Sau khi đăng ký thành công, thí sinh vui lòng đợi email thông báo và hướng dẫn đóng phí từ Phòng Tài chính - Trường Đại học Tôn Đức Thắng.

5. Nhận thông tin chi tiết về buổi thi:

Sau khi có xác nhận thí sinh đã hoàn thành việc đóng lệ phí thi, thí sinh sẽ nhận email của Cambridge về thông tin chi tiết của buổi thi (giờ thi, phòng thi,...) thông qua email thí sinh đã đăng ký (Dự kiến 03 ngày trước ngày thi kỹ năng đầu tiên).

Trung tâm sẽ gửi đến thí sinh email nhắc nhở về việc kiểm tra thông tin từ Cambridge kèm theo Phiếu thông tin thí sinh, các quy định cần nắm rõ trong buổi thi (file Notice to Candidates và Summary Regulations for Candidates). Thí sinh cần đọc kỹ quy định nhằm tránh các vi phạm trong ngày thi. Thí sinh cần dán hình vào Phiếu thông tin và mang theo vào ngày thi.

Vào ngày thi

Thí sinh cần mang theo:

  • Giấy tờ tùy thân có hình bản gốc (Căn cước công dân, hộ chiếu,...). Trong trường hợp không có giấy tờ tùy thân, thí sinh cần báo ngay với giám thị để được hỗ trợ.
  • Phiếu thông tin thí sinh đã dán hình.
  • Bút.
  • Thí sinh không cần mang theo giấy nháp, thí sinh sẽ được cung cấp khi vào phòng thi.

Trường hợp thí sinh sử dụng kết quả bài thi cho mục đích nhập cư, nên kiểm tra xem loại Giấy tờ tùy thân mà Cơ quan quản lý nhập cư của nước đó cần và sử dụng đúng giấy tờ đó đăng ký dự thi. Mang theo giấy tờ tùy thân đã sử dụng đăng ký dự thi để đi thi.

Trong trường hợp không tìm được khu vực thi, phòng thi, thí sinh có thể liên hệ nhân viên bảo vệ tại các cổng và xuất trình giấy tờ tùy thân để được hướng dẫn.

Đối với các ký thi B2 First, C1 Advanced và C2 Proficiency, thí sinh sẽ được chụp ảnh như một hình thức kiểm tra nhận dạng. Trường hợp thí sinh hoặc ba mẹ, người giám hộ (đối với thí sinh dưới 18 tuổi) từ chối việc chụp ảnh, thí sinh sẽ không được tham gia dự thi hoặc thí sinh sẽ không nhận được kết quả bài thi.

Thí sinh gửi tất cả vật dụng cá nhân tại khu vực được hướng dẫn bởi giám thị phòng thi.

Thí sinh cần giữ im lặng trong và ngoài phòng thi, tránh ảnh hưởng đến các thí sinh khác.

Thí sinh cần lưu ý không mang vào phòng thi cũng như sử dụng điện thoại, thiết bị di động,... trong cho đến khi hoàn thành bài thi.

Thí sinh cần lưu ý lịch thi kỹ năng Nói, tránh trường hợp ra về sau khi kết thúc phần thi Nghe - Đọc - Viết

Thí sinh đến sau giờ bắt đầu làm bài 10 phút sẽ không được dự thi.

Trường hợp thí sinh vắng thi vì bệnh, nhập viện, thí sinh cần cung cấp đầy đủ minh chứng như giấy tờ có mộc tròn của bệnh viện để được xem xét.

Sau buổi thi

Thí sinh sẽ nhận được kết quả thi khoảng 02 tuần sau ngày thi. Kết quả bài thi sẽ được thông báo tại webiste https://candidates.cambridgeenglish.org/Members/Login.aspx?M=None, thí sinh cần đăng ký tài khoản bằng “ID number” và “Secret number” được cung cấp trong Confirmation of Entry từ email của Cambridge để có thể đăng nhập vào website.

Thí sinh sẽ nhận chứng chỉ sau 02-03 tuần kể từ ngày nhận được kết quả thi. Trung tâm sẽ thông báo cho thí sinh đến nhận chứng chỉ qua email.

Trung tâm sẽ tiến hành hủy các chứng chỉ trong trường hợp thí sinh không đến nhận sau 01 năm kể từ ngày thông báo.

INSTRUCTIONS ON REGISTERING FOR A CAMBRIDGE ENGLISH EXAM

Registration

1. Visit TDTU - Creative Language Center’s official website at tdtu.edu.vn, then click on Assessment Services

2. Choose your Exam Level and Test Date. Make sure you register for the appropriate category, as follows:

TDTU Students: For undergraduate students currently studying at TDTU

Non-TDTU Students: For other candidates such as lecturers, staff, TDTU postgraduate students, or students from other institutes

3. Fill in your registration information:

For TDTU Students

Click on “TDTU Students”

Under “Exam format, English certificate exams” 🡪 Choose “Create new”

Fill in the form as shown below. Do not forget to include the “Test Date” section based on the date in the announcement, and then click “Submit Application.”

For Non-TDTU Students

+ Click on “Non-TDTU Students”

+ Fill in the form as follows, and then click “Submit Application.”

Note: When using the test results for immigration purposes, candidates should check the type of ID required by the Immigration Authority of that country and use the correct document to register for the examination. In order to take the test, it is compulsory to bring the identification documents that the candidates used in the registration.

4/ Fee payment:

Once candidates are successfully registered, they should wait for email notification and fee payment instructions from the Department of Finance - Ton Duc Thang University.

5/ Getting detailed information about the exam:

After confirmation that candidates have completed paying the examination fee, candidates will receive an email from Cambridge with detailed information about the examination (exam time, exam room, etc.) via the candidate’s registered email(s), which is around 3 days before the first test date.

The Center will send candidates a reminder email about checking information from Cambridge along with the Candidate Information Form and regulations that need to be understood during the examination (Notice to Candidates and Summary Regulations for Candidates File). Candidates need to read the regulations carefully to avoid violations on the examination day. Candidates need to attach a photo to the Candidate Information Form and bring it with them on the examination day.

On the examination day

Candidates need to bring:

Original identification documents with photos (Citizen Card, passport, etc.). In the event that the candidates do not have identification documents, candidates need to immediately notify the supervisor for assistance. The Candidate Information Form with an attached photo Pens Candidates do not need to bring draft paper. It will be provided in the examination room.

 

Candidates need to pay attention to the Speaking Test Schedule and avoid leaving after the Listening - Reading - Writing test.

Candidates arriving 10 minutes after the test start time will not be allowed to take the test.

In case a candidate is absent from the examination due to an illness or hospitalization, the candidate needs to provide sufficient evidence such as documents with hospital stamps, for consideration.

When using the examination results for immigration purposes, candidates should check the type of ID required by the Immigration Authority of that country and use the correct document to register for the examination. In order to take the examination, it is compulsory to bring the identification documents that the candidates used in the registration.

In case candidates cannot find the exam area or exam room, candidates can contact the security guards at the gates and present personal their identification documents for instructions.

For the B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency exams, candidates will have their photo taken as a form of identification check. In case the candidate or his/her parents or guardians (for candidates under 18 years old) refuse to take photos, the candidate will not be able to participate in the examination or will not receive the test results.

Candidates deposit all personal belongings in the area directed by the invigilator.

Candidates need to keep quiet inside and outside the examination room to avoid disturbing other candidates.

Candidates are not allowed to bring or use phones, mobile devices, etc. in the examination room until the examination is completed.

 

After the exam

Candidates will receive test results about 2 weeks after the exam date. The results will be announced on the website https://candidates.cambridgeenglish.org/Members/Login.aspx?M=None, Candidates need to register an account with the "ID number" and "Secret number" provided in the Confirmation of Entry from Cambridge’s email to be able to log in to the website.

Candidates will receive the certificate 2-3 weeks after receiving the test results. The Center will inform the candidates to come and claim their certificates via email.

The Center will cancel the certificates in case the candidate does not claim them after 1 year from the date of notification.
