On November 12, 2021, Ton Duc Thang University held the Opening Ceremony of the academic year 2021-2022. At the event, TDTU honoured to welcome leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, leaders of Ho Chi Minh City and partner localities, leaders of a number of universities and partner businesses, the Founding Council, the University Council for the term 2021-2026, the Presidential Board and leaders of affiliated units, along with lecturers and 9,000 students representing 25,000 students attending online.
The QS ranking system has announced the results of the QS Asia University Rankings 2022 with the participation of 687 higher education institutions across the continent.
Eleven Vietnamese universities have been listed in the Ranking, of which the highest ranking in Vietnam went to Ton Duc Thang University at 142nd place, and its entry ranking improved by 21 places compared to 2021.
