Announcement on organizing B1 Preliminary exam in February – March 2024

1. General information:

1.1. Candidates:

- Candidate 1: All Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) students who want to take the test.

- Candidate 2: All TDTU staff and outside candidates.

1.2. Examination fees:

Cambridge B1 Preliminary: 1.550.000 VND (4 skills)

1.3. Registration procedures:

Step 1:

- Candidate 1: Submit the application form from January 17 to January 25, 2024 via the Student Portal à Online form sub-section à Application form for International English Examination  à Choose Cambridge (PET) à Choose exam date (as per article 1.4)

- Candidate 2: Register for the test via the link https://s.net.vn/TkYl by January 25, 2024.

Step 2: Payment:

- Candidate 1: Students make a payment into the “Service Account” from January 27 to January 30, 2024 and complete the bill payment confirmation procedure until 10:00 AM on January 31, 2024.

- Candidate 2: The fee payment duration is from January 27 to January 30, 2024. All payment information and instructions will be sent to the candidate’s email.

Step 3: Candidate Information Form and Confirmation of Entry: The forms will be sent to candidates' emails (about 03 days before the exam date). Candidates should check your student email and personal email provided in the registration form. Candidates have to attach personal photos to the Candidate Information Form.

1.4. Test date:

- February 21, 2024. The speaking test date will be arranged between February 16, 2024 and February 25, 2024

- March 02, 2024. The speaking test date will be arranged between February 23, 2024 and March 03, 2024

1.5. Test time and exam room: Information on the test time and exam room will be included in Confirmation of Entry (sent about 03 days before the exam date).

1.6. Venue: Ton Duc Thang University – 19 Nguyen Huu Tho Street, Tan Phong Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

2. Examination Regulations:

- Candidates must present these documents on the exam date: the original Identity Card (or Passport) and Candidate information form.

- Notes: Candidates must not bring any other belonging(s) into the exam room except the above documents. Those belonging(s) must be left at the regulated place outside of the examination area. Candidates are responsible for the safety of these belongings or property.

- Identity cards that are expired, torn; or have unclear affixed seal, plastic lamination, re-lamination, or unclear characteristic of identification will not be accepted for the examination registration.

- Receiving a certificate: Candidates receive the Certificates at TDT-CLC Office – Room E0012 (after receiving an email from the Center) and must bring the original Identity Card or Passport.     

3. Notes:

- Candidates read and follow the content of The Examination Regulations on the website: http://clc.tdtu.edu.vn/students (“For students” section).

- Candidates are not allowed to participate in the examination if:

+ The Identity Card (or Passport) is not presented.

+ Candidates are unable to complete any procedure for the registration or violate The Examination Regulations.
