CLC Event | Funky Friday: Colors of Living

To accommodate students with more in-depth exposure to English learning, TDT Creative Language Center (CLC) successfully staged the unprecedented talk show: Colors of Living at Lobby E of Ton Duc Thang University on May 26, 2023. CLC cordially welcomed the visitors from Thailand, who are currently professors and Ph.D. students of North Bangkok University. In addition, the show embraced the attendance of Dr. John Baker on telling stories about American culture and Ms. Hana Marie on the Filipino way of life.

The event highlights the different colors of living in various cultures through the exchanges between the students and speakers. TDTU students showed no hesitation in taking this opportunity to learn new things from the senior speakers as well as to share their own experiences and knowledge about their homeland’s culture. The joy was not only felt in the interesting mutual talk exchanges, but it was also well experienced in exciting games that the dear Thai friends brought.

The next event of Funky Friday is expected to be on the 30th of June 2023 with the topic of Writing to Succeed, and we are looking forward to your participation.
