TDT Creative Language Center and the Faculty of Foreign Languages - Informatics, People’s Police University Exchanged Teaching Expertise

In a dedicated effort to strengthen educational practices, TDT Creative Language Center (TDT CLC) recently hosted a collaborative session with the Faculty of Foreign Languages - Informatics, People’s Police University (PPU) on October 25, 2024. Notable participants included Senior Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Vo Thanh Dat, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages - Informatics, and Senior Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Vo Thi Huyen, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages - Informatics. From TDT CLC, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sy, Vice Director in charge of the Center, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tuan, Vice Director, and Mr. Bui Huu Toan from TDTU’s Department of Testing and Quality Assessment joined alongside lecturers from both institutions.

The session began with an observation of Ms. Vo Huyen Nhi’s class. Her engaging lesson captivated attendees and received high praise from all lecturers. Senior Lieutenant Colonel Pham Anh Thu (PPU) highly evaluated Ms. Nhi for her ability to foster an interactive learning environment, noting how she adeptly encouraged student participation during the lesson.

In the meeting, Mr. Bui Huu Toan emphasized the importance of class observation, noting that it is a regular practice at Ton Duc Thang University aimed at enhancing teaching and learning experiences. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sy also elaborated on TDT CLC’s teaching approach, which focuses on equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed for international exams, ensuring they are well-prepared for future careers.

The event concluded with a tour of classrooms, Inspire Library, and TDTU campus, providing lecturers from the Faculty of Foreign Languages - Informatics (PPU) with a comprehensive view of the resources and learning environment available to students.

This exchange of teaching expertise highlights the commitment of both institutions to improving educational practices and fostering professional development among lecturers, ultimately benefiting their students’ learning experiences.
