Teachers' Meeting for Academic Year 2023-2024 at TDT Creative Language Center

On August 22, 2023 at Room D0402, The TDT Creative Language Center (CLC) organized an event of great significance as lecturers gathered for the Teachers' Meeting in anticipation of the upcoming Academic Year 2023-2024. This meeting served as a platform to discuss vital updates, share insights, and lay the foundation for a new academic year. The event welcomed the presence of distinguished individuals from representatives of other departments and units in the University and CLC, including:

• Le Van Lang from the Department of Inspection, Legislation, and Security
• Bui Huu Toan from the Department of Testing and Quality Assurance
• Nguyen Minh Hoang from the Department of Undergraduate

From CLC, There are Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sy, the Vice Director and Center-in-charge, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tuan, another Vice Director and esteemed Head Teachers. The gathering was further enriched by the participation of approximately 100 visiting and full-time lecturers.

The meeting commenced with Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sy, Vice Director of the center, delivering a warm and encouraging opening remark. He expressed his gratitude to the teaching community for their dedication and welcomed the special guests in attendance.

In the following session, Mr. Pham Minh Huy took the stage to share key academic updates and teaching conduct guidelines for the upcoming academic year. Mr. Pham Minh Huy's presentation encapsulated two pivotal aspects for the approaching Academic Year. Initially, he underscored the significance of adhering to University Regulations, offering subtle reminders about the importance of appropriate teaching attire and maintaining a conducive classroom atmosphere. This emphasis on professionalism aimed to foster an environment conducive to learning. Next, he discussed the syllabus updates, highlighting the integration of fresh, engaging contents for the new academic year.

His presentation is followed by the sharing from  Mr. Le Van Lang in which he engaged the audience with a comprehensive discussion on vital teaching regulations. He addressed concerns regarding class punctuality, class cancellation policies, and the significance of adhering to proper teaching attire. This segment emphasized the role of discipline and professionalism in creating a conducive learning environment. Furthermore, Mr. Bui Huu Toan's presentation resonated deeply with teachers as he encouraged them to actively participate in public lectures organized by the University. He underscored the power of collaborative learning and urged teachers to evolve their teaching methodologies. The focus on learner-centered approaches and interactive classroom dynamics emerged as a central theme.

After the break time for refreshments and networking, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sy- Vice Director, in charge of the center shared insights on student motivation. He advocated for a holistic perspective, highlighting the importance of both extrinsic and intrinsic motivation. The lecturers were reminded of their pivotal role in nurturing students' attitudes towards learning, with intrinsic motivation emerging as a powerful tool for long-term growth.

In conclusion, the Teachers' Meeting at TDT CLC was a resounding success, encapsulating the collaborative spirit and the foundation for the new Academic Year 2023-2024.
