Teachers’ Meeting and Workshop “Creative Speaking and Writing teaching 2020”

In the afternoon of 19 December 2019, the Creative Language Center (CLC) of Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held the Teacher Meeting for Semester 2 of Academic Year 2019-2020 and Workshop “Creative Speaking and Writing teaching 2020.”

During the meeting, CLC has informed all teachers the required information for the preparation for Semester 2 of Academic Year 2019-2020. Teachers also gave their feedback for Semester 1 Program for further improvement in the future.

After the Meeting was the Workshop “Creative Speaking and Writing teaching 2020,” by Dr.Bao Dat, a lecturer of Monash University, Australia. During the Workshop, Dr. Bao Dat, who is voted as one of the most creative lecturer at Monash University, has shared his experience in teaching speaking and writing creatively. He instructed thorough teaching methodologies from the theories, teaching steps to some tips on how to engage and motivate the students in a creative way.

He also pointed out some issues that teachers need to be aware when interacting with students by pedagogical methods to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness. The atmosphere of the Workshop was cozy and comfortable with many questions and answers from the speaker and attendees.
