TDT CLC Successfully Organized the Seminar “Innovating Language Education: Blending Technology, Equity, and Contextual Pedagogies”
On December 16, 2025, TDT Creative Language Center (TDT CLC) organized an academic seminar entitled “Innovating Language Education: Blending Technology, Equity, and Contextual Pedagogies” at Ton Duc Thang University. The seminar attracted a large number of lecturers and researchers from universities both in Vietnam and abroad who are interested in the field of language education, particularly English language teaching.
The seminar focused on updating current theoretical and practical trends in language education in the context of digital transformation and artificial intelligence. The presentations highlighted the role of technology in enhancing teaching and learning effectiveness, while also emphasizing the importance of ensuring equity, diversity, and inclusion through contextualized pedagogical approaches. Several discussions addressed the integration of indigenous knowledge, the connection between in-class and out-of-class learning, as well as issues related to teachers’ emotions, professional identity, and learners’ agency.
In addition, the seminar offered new academic perspectives on the cognitive and pedagogical foundations of language education in the era of artificial intelligence, thereby opening up directions for innovation in teaching practices and research within the context of English language education in Vietnam. The academic discussions were conducted in a rigorous and engaging manner, contributing to professional dialogue and strengthening research connections among participating lecturers and researchers.
The seminar “Innovating Language Education: Blending Technology, Equity, and Contextual Pedagogies” concluded in a positive academic atmosphere and provided valuable professional insights for participants.
