On December 15, 2022, the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings just announced the ranking results of the world's most sustainable universities in 2022.
This year, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) was ranked 114th, with a total score of 8,100 and reaching 8 higher positions compared to the result in 2021, out of a total of 1,050 universities participating in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings in 2022.
Jingled Xmas - The Music Show was successfully held by the TDT Creative Language Center in the celebration of the festive Christmas season.
The show welcomed TDTU students, lecturers and special guests. With the joyful songs, great performances, mini games and lovely sweets, it was the night of chilling moments and exciting mingling.
TDT CLC aims to create English events for all TDTU students to provide them with opportunities to practice and improve both English language and social skills.

The 5th session of Funky Friday- 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧 was successfully held on November, 25th, 2022 at TDT Creative Language Center.
We came and had fun with “I am a fan of…”
We laughed and practiced English with “hot chairs”
We shared and listened to Ed’s stories with “mini talk”
We joined hands and were creative with “balloons design”
We danced to the beat of youth with “Waka Waka”
We got some luck with “lucky draw”
On November 19, 2022, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) celebrated the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2022).
There was the participation of Mr. Tran Van Thuat - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; representatives of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and The Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City University and College; universities and amicable enterprises; members of the Founding Council, University Council, Presidential Board, lecturers, staff, employees, and representatives of TDTU students and alumni.
On November 19, 2022, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor announced the decision to appoint Dr. Tran Trong Dao as the president of Ton Duc Thang University for the term 2021-2026.
At the meeting on November 16, 2022, The Council of Ton Duc Thang University elected Dr. Tran Trong Dao to hold the position of President with 16/16 votes in favor, reaching 100%.
Dr. Tran Trong Dao was born in 1981, in Quang Ngai with a Ph.D. in Control Engineering, and an advanced degree in political theory.
On the evening of November 18th, 2022, the TDT Creative Language Center held a cozy Vietnamese Teachers’ Day party for all English lecturers at Ton Duc Thang University.
On this special occasion, the next session of Ezone about CLC Teachers was successfully held on November 10th, 2022 at 4AC Hall.
We had a great time together with so many meaningful activities to express our appreciation and thanks to CLC teachers.
5 winners of the video contest were awarded and shared their thoughts about the teachers they love.
And don’t forget we will have the next event of Funky Friday on November 25th, 2022 with the topic of “Sportsfest”

On the afternoon of 𝟐𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐, TDTU Creative Language Center held the 𝟐! 𝐒𝐤𝐨𝐨𝐥 event for the purpose of creating an English playground for TDTU students. We had so much fun at the English Zone with more than 40 participants!
There were not only a lot of fun activities that connected everybody in the room together, we also shared our interests, memories and SNACKS!
After that, there was an unforgettable moment for our dazzling guests to shine with their voice in our Music Show.
