Ton Duc Thang University Organizes Alumni Networking Day 2025
On June 28, 2025, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) successfully organized Alumni Networking Day 2025 – a meaningful annual event aimed at fostering connection and dialogue between generations of alumni and current students. This occasion offered alumni the opportunity to return to campus, reconnect with faculty and peers, and strengthen their bond with the University. It also created new avenues for expanding collaboration between TDTU, its alumni, and the wider business community.
The event brought together the University’s Board of Directors, leaders from various departments, faculties, and centers, along with numerous businesses founded or operated by alumni, sponsors, and a large number of TDTU alumni and students
In her opening remarks, Dr. Dong Si Thien Chau, Vice President of TDTU, highlighted the vital role alumni play in the University’s ongoing development: “Ton Duc Thang University always considers its alumni an inseparable part of the institution – a bridge between the University and society, and a living testament to our educational quality and identity as an advanced university. This year’s Alumni Networking Day is not only a reunion but also a platform to reflect on our shared journey, exchange success stories and experiences, and envision a future shaped by practical, creative, and humane cooperation.”
Also at the event, alumna Ms. Le Thi Ngoc Thao – Sales Director of Vietluxtour (Intake 13, Vietnamese Studies major) – delivered a heartfelt speech, expressing her deep gratitude to the University and reaffirming her commitment to supporting its networking activities.
This year’s Alumni Networking Day featured a variety of meaningful and engaging activities. As part of the event, the University held a ceremony to announce the establishment and introduce the Interim Executive Committee of the Alumni Entrepreneurs Club; launched the Alumni Database Portal; and initiated the campaign to build alumni networks across all Faculties through the university-wide data connection system. At the same time, the Organizing Committee expressed sincere gratitude and appreciation to the sponsors and partners who supported the event.
The event also featured a variety of meaningful activities and programs, such as meetings between Faculties and alumni, alumni sports exchanges, and company booths for exhibitions and recruitment.
As part of the sports exchange activities, six alumni teams participated in a football tournament. The first prize was awarded to the Faculty of Applied Sciences team; the Faculty of Business Administration team took second place; and the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering team won third place.

The alumni enterprise booth area also witnessed participation from many companies. It attracted a large number of students who came to learn, network, and explore future career paths.
The “2025 Alumni Networking Day” concluded successfully, clearly demonstrating TDTU’s role in fostering a strong and dynamic alumni community. The University believes that the support and companionship of generations of alumni will be a valuable resource in its journey toward comprehensive and sustainable development in the future.
