Ton Duc Thang University Welcomed and Worked with the Delegation of Representatives from the People’s Committee of District 7
On January 9, 2024, a delegation of officials from the People’s Committee of District 7, led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Ngoan - District Commissioner and Vice Chairwoman of the People’s Committee of District 7, along with representatives of principals of public preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools in District 7, visited and worked with Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU).
On behalf of TDTU, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Vice President of TDTU and the representatives of the leaders of departments, faculties, institutes, and centers, warmly welcomed the delegation.
After visiting the Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS), Inspire library, sports complex, FIFA stadium, and having a working session with TDTU’s Presidential Board, the delegation was impressed by the facilities and appreciated the warm and friendly welcome from the University.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Ngoan - Vice Chairwoman of the People’s Committee of District 7, conveyed her desire for TDTU to share its vision, mission, and goals to explore the operational model of the University, the quality assurance activities, the policies for lecturers and staff development, and the operational model of Vietnam-Finland International School (VFIS). She also hoped for increased collaboration and an open exchange of experiences between TDTU, the People’s Committee of District 7, and public preschools, primary schools, and secondary schools in District 7.
During the exchange with the delegation from the People’s Committee of District 7, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy - Vice President of TDTU, highlighted that the current achievements of the University are the result of the consensus and efforts made by all the University’s staff, working with the spirit of devotion, dedication, and creativity. In addition, Dr. Vo Hoang Duy shared the history and development process of the University, the vision and mission, the development goals, the operational model of VFIS, and the operational mechanism of the library. He also expressed the desire for more meetings to share experiences and further expand cooperation and support from the People’s Committee of District 7 and other schools.
