The OpenSpace XIII “New Year’s Resolution” on December 14, 2024 was incredible. Our teams from all over eagerly tested our knowledge and skills through our New Year’s resolution activities. The competition was intense, but participants demonstrated outstanding teamwork and a cooperative spirit at every challenge! 

At TDT CLC and AstroTeam, we believe that the experiences at each station empowered participants to gain valuable insights, strengthen skills and build new lasting friendships. We hope the event was both exciting and unforgettable for all involved!

The ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance International Conference 2024 (AUN-QA) 2024 officially closed on the afternoon of December 12, 2024 at Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh city. The event attracted the participation of more than 400 delegates from 153 universities, educational institutions and management agencies in the ASEAN region and international partners.

We extend our sincere thanks to all participants who attended our workshop “B1 Preliminary (PET) Speaking Part 3 Insights” on December 10, 2024. We hope the session provided you with valuable strategies and strengthened your confidence for the B1 Preliminary Speaking exam.

On November 30th, 2024, TDT Creative Language Center had the honor of hosting the workshop "A General Guide to Your Research Journey". This event brought together a dynamic group of educators, researchers, and enthusiasts to explore the art and science of research.

On November 20, 2024, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) organized a series of meaningful activities to celebrate the 42^nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 — November 20, 2024).

The program celebrating the 42^nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day was solemnly held in the University’s main auditorium.

On November 20, 2024, as part of the program celebrating the 42^nd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2024), Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) held a ceremony to announce and present the Appointment Decision for Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Son, Dean of the Faculty of Law at TDTU, to the position of Vice President for the term 2021–2026.

On November 19, 2024, the TDT Creative Language Center celebrated Teachers' Day with a heartwarming gathering that united all the dedicated lecturers and staff. The evening was filled with joy, engaging activities, and a delightful dinner, making it a memorable occasion to honor the invaluable contributions of our lecturers.

Aims:
Creative Language Center organizes free mock exams for English proficiency tests such as IELTS, B1 Preliminary (PET), B2 First (FCE), and more for Ton Duc Thang University students. These exams provide students with the opportunity to experience various computer-based English tests, assess their language proficiency, and develop a specific study and practice plan, as well as make informed decisions regarding official English language exams.
The proficiency tests will be held monthly.

On November 8, 2024, the English Zone Special Event “Popcorn Pals” was a delightful celebration of classic literature and cinematic art, bringing students together for an immersive experience that highlighted the charm of the Victorian era.

Attendees were captivated by the timeless romance and wit of Jane Austen's story, and they actively performed a traditional Victorian dance, adding a unique touch of authenticity to the event. 

On October 31, 2024, we gathered for an unforgettable Funky Friday event “Haunted Hall” filled with chills, thrills, and plenty of Halloween fun! From spooky decorations to eerie music, the atmosphere was electrifying! 

The highlight of the night was our costume fashion show, where creativity truly shone. It was amazing to see everyone’s unique outfits! And let’s not forget the hilarious games that kept us laughing all night long. Until next year, keep the Halloween magic alive!
