1. Qualifications:

- Native English speakers from countries such as the UK, Australia, the US, etc.: Must hold a Master’s degree or higher, along with a recognized international qualification certificate in teaching English language (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA, etc.) and at least 3 years of English teaching experience (Teaching experience in higher education institutions preferred).

- Non-native English speakers must meet one of the following criteria:

+ Hold a Master’s degree in English Pedagogy or higher

On January 7th, 2025, TDT Creative Language Center (TDT CLC) hosted a highly engaging and informative workshop titled “Integrating AI into Education: Opportunities and Challenges in Teaching and Learning”. The event brought together educators, students, and technology enthusiasts from Ton Duc Thang University, People's Police University, and other universities to delve into the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in shaping the future of education.

On the afternoon of January 3, 2025, TDT Creative Language Center successfully held the Teachers’ Meeting for Semester 2 of the Academic Year 2024-2025. The event provided an avenue to review the results of the previous semester and share key updates for the upcoming one.

The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Sy, Vice Director in charge of TDT Creative Language Center, Ms. Pham Thi Luong, the representative from the Department of Testing and Quality Assessment, and over 80 lecturers from the Center.

Aims:

Creative Language Center organizes free mock exams for English proficiency tests such as IELTS, B1 Preliminary (PET), B2 First (FCE), and more for Ton Duc Thang University students. These exams provide students with the opportunity to experience various computer-based English tests, assess their language proficiency, and develop a specific study and practice plan, as well as make informed decisions regarding official English language exams. The proficiency tests will be held monthly.

Privilege:

TDT Creative Language Center would like to announce the adjustment of fees for the Cambridge exams as follows:
1. Candidates: All candidates wishing to take the exam including students, lecturers, staff, graduate students of Ton Duc Thang University, and external candidates.
2. The adjusted fees will applied from February 2025 to July 2025, as follows:
- Preliminary English Test (PET): 1.550.000 VND
- First Certificate in English (FCE): 2.550.000 VND

On December 20, 2024, we had the privilege of experiencing an unforgettable celebration of music, joy, and the holiday spirit at the Music Show “Ding Dong Merrily on High”.

According to the latest impressive results from the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2024, TDTU is proud to be ranked 87^th out of 1,477 educational institutions participating in the assessment.

This is a clear demonstration of the University’s constant efforts in building a modern, friendly, and natural learning and working environment, while ensuring long-term sustainable development.

The OpenSpace XIII “New Year’s Resolution” on December 14, 2024 was incredible. Our teams from all over eagerly tested our knowledge and skills through our New Year’s resolution activities. The competition was intense, but participants demonstrated outstanding teamwork and a cooperative spirit at every challenge! 

At TDT CLC and AstroTeam, we believe that the experiences at each station empowered participants to gain valuable insights, strengthen skills and build new lasting friendships. We hope the event was both exciting and unforgettable for all involved!

The ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance International Conference 2024 (AUN-QA) 2024 officially closed on the afternoon of December 12, 2024 at Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh city. The event attracted the participation of more than 400 delegates from 153 universities, educational institutions and management agencies in the ASEAN region and international partners.

We extend our sincere thanks to all participants who attended our workshop “B1 Preliminary (PET) Speaking Part 3 Insights” on December 10, 2024. We hope the session provided you with valuable strategies and strengthened your confidence for the B1 Preliminary Speaking exam.
